Don't you hate it when they snap, mine had an air bubble half way down but didn't know until it snapped when trying to clean my barrel
........ anyhoo quick trip to my local model shop and one brand new carbon fibre 1m long 4mm dia rod for less than £4.
Cut it down to half its length, drilled out the old ends for the jag and angled tip, and then araldited the old ends onto the new rod. Hey presto a super strong and flexible cleaning rod that won't snap again. ;D
The pics are straight forward and leaves me a 500mm spare piece of carbon fibre for another one if can find some ends?simple fix but thinking outside the box with the carbon fibre kite rods saved so much hassle.
